Description
Maison Martin 's Hegoa sauce is a mild sauce with a strength of 3/12 , made from Gorria peppers grown in the Basque Country. This pepper is also known for being the main ingredient in the famous Espelette AOP pepper . With around 1,500 SHU on the Scoville scale, this sauce offers a moderate spiciness that delicately enhances a wide variety of dishes such as vegetables, pasta, rice, meat, eggs or fish.
It is prepared in an artisanal way in France with peppers harvested at full maturity. Maison Martin sauces are also known for their small batch production and barrel fermentation, which gives them a unique aromatic richness.
Ingredients : Gorria peppers (45%), water, sugar, vinegar, salt, stabilizer, xanthan gum.
